Become a sponsor of the Theodore Case Film Festival!
Individuals or organizations are welcome to become festival sponsors this coming year or on a multi-year basis. All sponsors are listed in the festival program and advertising space is available based on sponsorship levels (see below). A number of exciting changes are planned for this, our sixth year of programming. Our new website, www.tedcasefilmfest.org. will be available shortly. Submitted films/videos may be as long as thirty minutes in length rather than ten. New outreach efforts are planned to area Art and/or Technology teachers including a March workshop. Finally, a second day or evening of screening will spotlight the work of local middle and high school students. The festival itself will be held on June 5, 2010. The deadline for entries is May 3, 2010. There is a growing interest in the early sound-on-film contributions of Theodore Case and the Case Research Lab. The Case Research Lab Museum on the grounds of the Cayuga Museum of History and Art attracts a variety of film scholars as well as an informed general public. Case’s work has been featured in a number of recent documentaries exploring the rise of sound in the Cinema Arts. This festival is thus part of an ongoing effort to recognize Case and advance his creative legacy in Central New York and beyond. Please join us in promoting and supporting this exciting cinema event. Your funding defrays the costs of the festival and provides awards for entrants.
