2010 Theodore Case Film Festival press release

AUBURN, N.Y. - This festival honors the role of Auburnian Theodore Case and the Case Research lab in the development of sound-on film technology during the early 1920s. Its mission is to further the legacy of the Case Lab by promoting the video arts in Central New York.

The work of area student and adult filmmakers will be screened at the Auburn Public Theater on June 5, 2010. Central New York residents are invited to submit their recent work of thirty minutes or less to the festival on DVD format.

Entry forms may be picked up at the Cayuga Museum, 203 Genesee Street, in Auburn or can be downloaded from either the events page at the Museum’s website: www.cayuganet.org/cayugamuseum or the festival’s website at www.tedcasefilmfest.org

Work in all genres is welcome and there is no entry fee.

Deadline for entries is May 3, 2010.
